Frequently Asked Questions
Click on a question below for more information
Where are you located?
We are a London voiceover studio, offering recordings and connections across the world. The studio is located in Hammersmith, West London. We are 2 minutes from both tube stations, which are served by 4 lines (District, Piccadilly, Hammersmith and City and Circle Lines).
Is an engineer included? What about editing?
Yes, an engineer is included, to make everything go smoothly.
Click here to read more about who you’ll be working with.
Our engineers can edit for you too. Editing is charged at the same rate as recording. In fact we usually edit as we go, meaning your audio is ready at the end of the session.
Can I operate the equipment myself?
We only rent the studio with one of our own engineers.
Do you open at weekends and overnight?
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am-6pm.
We can operate out-of-hours in certain cases. However we charge an additional 50 percent on our standard prices. There is also a minimum booking duration of 4 hours.
How many people can the booth take?
Our London voiceover studio is equipped with 2 microphones. This means the studio can take 2 people at a time.
How can I direct the session?
There are three ways: in person, over the telephone or via Zoom. If you choose the latter, the booth and the control room both have webcams so you can see the artist as we record.
Can you connect to other studios or people at home?
Yes. Our London voiceover studio can connect via Zoom, telephone, Source-Connect and Source-Connect.
How will my audio be delivered? How do I pay?
We’ll email you a link at the end of the session. This will allow you to download your project. Files can be delivered as WAV, MP3 and most other audio file formats. We keep all audio projects for 3 years in case you need alterations.
You can make payment by BACS or with a card online. We accept all cards, except American Express. Additionally, for certain customers we offer 30 day payment terms (with a purchase order).
How long do I need to book for my podcast?
As a very rough guide, you should multiply the number of finished hours by between 4 and 5 to get an idea of how long you will need in the studio. This includes recording (which by nature takes longer than the finished length), editing and mastering.
Which celebrities have you worked with?
We’ve worked with hundreds of voice artists, actors and agencies over the years.
